Meet the team

Meet Our Chiropractor

Luke Turner, began as a Chiropractor in August 2013 after graduating from the Anglo European College of Chiropractic. Four years have passed, working for one of the most established clinics in Britain, but he is now running his own clinic in Dronfield - PureChiro.

"Growing up around Chiropractic, I was astonished to see how this profession not only changed my family's life for the better, but for countless others too. After realising the potential of it, I made it my ambition to one day become a Doctor of Chiropractric."

Luke went on to realise his ambition by completing the gruelling five year course at the Anglo European College of Chiropractic (AECC) in Bournemouth, gaining a master's degree at the end.

"During my time training, I was lucky enough to treat a whole range of individuals and personalities including: triathletes, marathon runners, a GB Olympic coach, elite soldiers, and new born babies."

Luke is also a proud member of the United Chiropractic Association and is fully registered with the General Chiropractic Council (Chiropractic profession's governing body). To further his knowledge, he has attended Chiropractic seminars taught by world renowned Chiropractors. Luke practices with a variety of techniques and is able to help with all of the joints in the body, not only spinal problems. He also has a particular interest in helping his patients reach a goal of optimum health.

"In my experience, people with healthy habits tend to get fewer of the problems that Chiropractors traditionally treat."

Luke likes to remain healthy by: eating well, receiving regular Chiropractic adjustments, hiking with his family, being part of the Crossfit Sheffield community and running in events such as The Fan Dance in the Brecon Beacons and the London Marathon.

Working at PureChiro Clinic alongside a fantastic and supportive team is such an exciting opportunity for me as every day brings new challenges, and I can learn so much from Luke about Chiropractic and general health. Each week he will always recommend new books for us to try, and as a huge fan of reading, my bookcase is now absolutely full to the brim! Plus, I love working on the reception desk where I get to see new as well as familiar faces coming through the door every day!

Hi, I’m Amy!

Having recently graduated from University in York and moved back to my hometown of Dronfield, I was thrilled to find my post-graduate job at PureChiro Clinic.

From a young age I’ve always had a real passion for maintaining a healthy lifestyle and getting involved in sport; From dancing and cross country, to horse riding and hiking, I love it all! When I was growing up our family holidays would often include long walks through the Lake district in Cumbria. My four ‘fit-as-a-fiddle’ grandparents are my inspiration behind leading a healthy and happy life, and therefore working at PureChiro where enhancing health is one of our key focuses is perfect for me!

On my days off I enjoy taking my husky on big walks through the Peak District or visiting all the animals we have on our family farm in Dronfield, as well as attempting to plan a wedding! This summer I’m also planning on completing the National three peaks; I ticked Snowdon off the list last year, so I just have Scafell Pike and Ben Nevis to go!

Hi, I'm Nikita,

I first met Dr Luke and the PureChiro Team shortly after they opened. I was referred by my niece who said, “Aunty Kita I’ve booked you an appointment to see Dr Luke, I think he could sort your back out because you're always saying it hurts!”

When I was younger I studied traditional hand embroidery at The Royal School of Needlework in Hampton Court Palace. We sat for many hours with our slate frames on trestles and this was where my first aches and pains in my neck and lower back started. I love my embroidery and just thought life was about managing the pain, however after meeting Dr Luke my life has been reformed - no more painkillers and no more pain!

I’m so happy to now be part of the team and to be able to share other peoples victories over pain not just mine! I still enjoy my embroidery in my free time but it’s a far less painful experience just the joy of producing something beautiful.

Looking forward to meeting and chatting with all our old and new patients!

Nikita :)

Hi, I’m Becky,

I’m the Communications Executive here at PureChiro Clinic.

A little bit about me.

After gaining a Marketing BSc degree, I went on to work for Marketing companies located oversees, ranging from fashion/retail in NYC, to a Financial & Tourism haven on a Caribbean Island!

I have however spent most of my career within the Marketing team at sporting giant, adidas.

Sport has always been my absolute passion. I’ve run distance races including The London Marathon, taken part in triathlons abroad in 30 degree heat and when I was younger I truly believed I was invincible...

Chiropractic care came into my life when my body seemed to somewhat fall apart during my two pregnancies. I found myself laid out, in tears and unable to move with back and pelvic pain.

Chiropractic treatment safely rebuilt my mobility and I’m grateful my care has continued postpartum.

It’s a great shame it took severe pain to shock me into giving my body some much needed time and maintenance. I still pop out and run a few times a week although I’m pretty preoccupied darting around after two young, very mischievous humans! My goal is balance and taking some time to look after myself (like most, I’m trying)!

I’m inspired by the people actively partaking in their individual self care journey at the clinic.

I thoroughly enjoy working alongside such a dynamic and innovative team who have such an outstanding personal rapport with patients.

I really look forward to meeting you soon!
